At L-R, we've always believed in combining conservation with responsible economic development, whether in our own back yard, halfway across the country, or all the way around the world.
The Reese Institute for the Conservation of Natural Resources will give our students an unprecedented opportunity to do exactly that: to participate in a curriculum that honors that old bumper sticker, "think globally, act locally."
Through service learning, scholarship, fieldwork, travel opportunities and internships, students will have the chance to positively impact their immediate community, while setting their sights on the larger conservation issues of the nation and beyond.
If you want to save the world, this is the program for you.
Libby Hoover, a senior conservation of natural resources major, has been recognized with the Community Impact Student Award for her efforts to protect the natural environment. > More
