6th Annual Unifour Air Quality Conference

The 6th annual Unifour Air Quality Conference will be held on June 15, 2012. Sponsored by the Reese Institute for Conservation of Natural Resources and the Unifour Air Quality Committee of Western Piedmont Council of Governments, the conference will feature talks from local, state and federal air quality specialists. Conference attendees may select from a variety of break out sessions focusing on topics ranging from alternative fuels, to energy assessments, to Agriburbia. This year, we are also offering special sessions for teachers, which are available for Environmental Literacy credit.

The conference will begin at 8:30 a.m. with registration and a continental breakfast.

During the sponsored lunch, Kim DeCoste of Netherwood Productions will give us an overview of "It's Our Air," a complete air quality science curriculum for NC high school Earth and Environmental Science classes.
